Merry Christmas to all my blog readers. This Christmas I have come to appreciate my family more than ever because 2 weeks ago I thought P1 and P2 were going to grow up without their SuSu, and then their Poppy had a mild stroke a few days later. Needless to say, it has been a crazy month. We have not told the girls about it because we are hoping for a full recovery, but I have missed spending time with my girls. The scare my parents gave me made me appreciate them more, but what's funny is that it made me love my girls even more. So in a time when my parents needed me more than they ever have, I loved and appreciated my girls more than ever. I guess it was just the perspective of how fragile and wonderful life can be all at the same time. Here's to a full recovery for SuSu and Poppy, and to Presley and Paxten spending many Christmases with their SuSu and Poppy in the future.
