Back To Life

My blog postings have suffered over the past week.  Presley and Paxten lost their great grandmother Peaches.  I know that neither of them will remember her, but she was an important person to almost every other family member that Presley and Paxten have; therefore, she is more important to them than they'll ever know, and that's okay because that is life.
One thing that did happen that I thought was sweet:
Presley saw Peaches's bed and asked if that was the bed that Peaches fell out of.
Me:  Yes, it is.
P1:  Did she cry?
Me:  Yes, she probably did, but it's okay because she's gone and not in pain any more.
P1:  Is Charlie sad?
Me:  Yes Presley, we're all sad.
P1:  Why?
Me:  Because we're going to miss her.
P1:  Why?
Me:  Because we won't see her any more.
P1:  I want to give Charlie a hug and make him feel better.
(At this I started crying.  I asked her to repeat what she said to see if I heard her correctly, and I did.  I gave her a hug and took her out to see Charlie, but she saw that Diego was on TV and decided that she wanted to watch it instead, and I thought that was funny too.)

Presley is a very sweet girl.  Even if she doesn't understand everything completely, she has a lot of sweet thoughts and tendencies already.  She's sweet like a pink donut with rainbow sprinkles on it.
