She Tells It How It Is

The other morning Presley was in the bed between mommy and daddy, and I have to give her credit.  She has learned how to work a room, but she also tells it how it is.  The following conversation took place:

Lora:  Presley, are you mommy's girl or daddy's girl?
P1:  Both.  I'm mommy and daddy's girl.  (NOTE: when mommy isn't around she'll tell me she is just my girl. Not saying it's true, but that she's working the room.  I actually like the fact that she says that she is both of our girl.)
Me:  Presley, that's sweet.
Lora:  Presley is Paxten's mommy's girl or daddy's girl?
P1:  Mommy's girl.
Me:  Presley, you're not in trouble for saying that because I really can't argue with you.  Paxten loves her mommy.

I love Presley and Paxten and Paxten's mommy too!
