A 3 Year Old's Logic
P1: Daddy, I want some goldfish.
Me: Okay, but we are eating dinner in a little bit so you can only have ten.
P1: Okay Daddy.
(I put 10 goldfish in a ziploc bag)
P1: Daddy, I want a lot.
Me: No Presley, we're about to eat.
P1: (starts crying) But I want a lot of goldfish.
Me: Presley, you can have ten or zero.
P1: (Crying even more now) But I do.
Me: Presley, you can only have 10 because we are about to eat, and I don't want you to be full so you can eat your dinner.
P1: But I don't wanna eat dinner. My tummy is just full. (Still crying, by the way)
Me: So Presley, your tummy is too full to eat dinner, but you're crying because you want more goldfish?
P1: (Still crying) yeeeeeeesssssssssssss.
