P1 and P2 are the greatest thing that have ever happened to me. Most parents would say the same thing about their kids. They can do no wrong, and I am very biased and partial to them, obviously. As a matter of fact, I would say that I’m not a “kid” person because other people’s babies and kids bother me at times, but instead I am a “Presley and Paxten” person. Having said all of that, today I want to talk about something I’ve noticed about them that I believe anyone who has met them would notice even if they weren’t wearing my “Presley and Paxten” sunglasses: my daughters are sweet, and I mean really, really sweet.
As Presley gets older, and I see her interacting with other kids, I’ve realized that almost all kids bite and/or hit at some point in their lives. Presley has never hit or bit another child or person…. ever, and I know that seems like it isn’t a big deal, but so many kids who don’t know how to express themselves will hit other kids or bite other kids, and I’ve seen some not know what to do and frail their arms in a hitting motion towards their parents. The other day Presley got in an argument with another toddler, and they were both saying that they were hit by the other one, and it is nice feeling to know that Presley definitely was not the hitter because she has never hit anyone in her life. Presley cries when people don’t share with her, and sometimes I wish she would be more aggressive, but then I think about parents who have kids the hit other kids, and I am so thankful Presley is the way she is.
Paxten Parker is the same way. I think if she was a biter/hitter, then I would have more of an appreciation for Presley, but since neither one of them hit or bite, their sweetness is all I know. Lora and I were talking the other day, and I feel like I don’t appreciate it as much as I should, which is why I am blogging about it now. I’m here to tell you. Presley and Paxten Parker are both very sweet and very good natured, and that is just one of an uncountable things that I love about them.
Awh - so sweet - they get it from their parents.
