Hold You Part Two

Back in September I wrote about Paxten saying, "hoe chew" whenever she wanted us to hold her just like her sister did. Here lately she has been very needy and always wants to be held, which is sweet, but makes preparing dinner or cleaning up after dinner or anything that requires more than one arm very difficult. I'm not complaining though. I'm glad to have a daughter who wants to always be held. When I put her down, she starts crying and throwing a temper-tantrum, but I figure it's just a phase and don't mind at all.
Since my post in September was four months ago, and I decided last night that I better teach her to say, "hold me" instead of "hold you," and the following conversation took place between Pax and me last night:

P2: (Arms in the air looking at me) Hold you.
Me: You want me to hold you?
P2: Ya.
Me: Say, "hold me."
P2:  Hold you-me.
Me: (Laughing) No, say, "hold me."
P2:  Hold you-me.
Me: Paxten, say, "hold ME."
P2: Hold you-ME.

I picked her up and gave her some loving after that. Maybe next time.
