Recently P2 took an interest in pictures at our house and has started identifying the different people in each picture. She is pretty good at it, and her favorite one to identify is the one of my parents, brothers and the four of us before my grandmother's funeral. I think she likes that one because it has the seven (7) most important people in her life in it, and of course, her.
BUT the other day she stumbled across a wedding picture of Lora and me (below), and then the following conversation took place: (See picture first.)
P2 (Pointing to mommy): Mommy.
P2 (Pointing to me): Pat-Pat.
Me: Paxten, who is this? (Pointing to myself.)
P2: Pat-Pat.
Me: Nooooooooo. Who is this? (Pointing to mommy.)
P2: Mommy.
Me: That's right!
Me: Who is this? (Pointing to myself.)
P2: Pat-Pat.
Me: Paxten, who is this (Pointing to myself.)
P2: Pat-Pat.
Me: Paxten, where's daddy in the picture?
P2: All gone.
(I gave up..... it must be the hair...... or the good looks.)
