People with kids always joke about their little kids repeating stuff that they say, and I have noticed it a time or two with the girls, but never anything that I wish I had not said really. The other day; however, we were in the car in bad traffic, and all of the sudden, out of nowhere, Presley and I had the following conversation that made me realize I need to always be aware of what I'm saying:
P1: This traffic is killing us!
Me: ???????? Presley??????? Why did you say that??????
P1: Because you said it.
Me: Today?
P1: (nods)
Me: When?
P1: You just said it.
Me: Oh...... okay. Well, yes this traffic is bad, but you should not say that. I did not mean to say that in front of you. You're not in trouble, but please don't say that, okay?
P1: Okay.
