Did you know that in the children's book Goodnight Moon, the mouse is in a different spot on every page? We did after we bought that book for Presley when she was very young because she enjoyed it so much. One of the first things she learned to do was find the mouse on every page.
Now Paxten is finally letting us read at least that book to her, (If you're a long time blog follower, you'll know that Paxten is very hard to read to because she throws the books out of your hands.) and she can find the mouse on all the pages as well.
The other night while we were on vacation Presley decided to "read" Goodnight Moon to Paxten. Presley turned the page and asked Paxten to point to where the mouse is. After Paxten found it, Presley followed up with a, "good job baby." or "oh, that's so good."
Presley also "read" Brown Bear, Brown Bear that night to Paxten as well, which she has memorized.
It was a neat moment to watch. They really are playing more and more together, and I love watching their relationship and love for each other flourish and grow. Pictures below.
