Birthday Changes

Paxten Parker turns 2 on Saturday, March 24, and this has brought on a slew of changes for her. The only one that is a right of passage is that she can now face forward in her carseat, but we decided to go ahead and put her in her toddler bed and start potting training her as well! ! ! !
The potting training was the school's idea, and apparently she does really well with it there, but not so much here... yet, but we just started.
As far as the toddler bed is concerned, we had our troubles on the second night, but once we put a dog-gate across the threshold of her doorway, and she accepted that she cannot get out of her room, it has become a little easier. As a matter of fact, she usually gets up once or twice, opens her door and cries until we come tuck her back in bed, but last night she went straight to sleep, so we're making progress there.
Her favorite change was her carseat being turned around. The first day we did it, after Lora buckled her in to make sure it fit well, Paxten started telling Lora, "Go, mommy, go. Drive," and pointing to the front seat, and then once she finally got to take a ride in it, she was sooooo happy! ! !
I love my baby girl. I wish I could freeze her at this stage right now! ! ! Happy-front-facing-carseat-potty-training-toddler-bed-sleeping-birthday Paxten!
