As you know from yesterday's blog, Pat-Pat came over to help out Monday night since Lora is out of town for the week. One incident occurred that I did not realize until HE blogged about it. Like I said yesterday, we purchased ice cream from the ice cream truck, and at one point, I came outside from doing the dishes to find Presley feeding ice cream to Cady (our dog) and then eating off of the ice cream where Cady had just eaten. I immediately stopped her and wondered why Pat-Pat had let it happen. I later found out that he thought I approved it. You see while I was inside doing the dishes, Presley asked me if Cady could have ice cream, and I told her that she could. I thought she mean that she dropped some on the ground that Cady was eating, but apparently she and Pat-Pat both thought that I meant that she could "share" her ice cream with Cady. While I'm sure Presley got a good dose of antibodies, I would prefer her not share food directly with Cady, but please do not confuse this with Paxten and Cady both eating off of the same plate, which I allowed (and blogged about) a few weeks ago.
