Paxten's favorite color is purple, but I do not mean that she likes purple. I mean she is infatuated with purple! She always wants to wear something purple and when something is purple it makes her happy. The other morning while we were getting ready for school she went up stairs on her own, and brought down a purple shirt that she wanted to wear to school that was in one of her drawers. Purple is not one of her school approved colors so she couldn't wear it, but we've fixed that by letting her take a purple jacket to school. Lora and I have often times commented and discusses about how crazy she is about purple, but I don't think we've really told other people about it, which made it even more amazing when her teacher asked me one day if Paxten really loved purple. I told her yes, and asked her why she was asking. She told me that the other day she (the teacher) had on purple socks and Paxten sat down at her feet and was trying to pull the teacher's purple socks off because she wanted to wear them. Obviously this cracked me up. I don't know what caused it or started it, but Paxten Parker is in love with purple. I only hope she does not do something silly like pick her college based on that color because TCU is right around the corner, and well, first it's not The University of Texas, and two it's a private school. I love my little purple lover!
