P1 and P2's grandmother, Hamony is staying with us this week. Hamony is Korean for 'grandmother.' The following conversation took place between P1 and me the morning after her first night with us:
P1: Daddy, why is Hamony here in the morning time?
Me: Because she stayed the night here last night.
P1: Why?
Me: Because she does not have a house here any more because she moved.
P1: Because she lives on a different continent?
Me: No, she doesn't live on a different continent, but she does live in a different state. She lives in Georgia. Atlanta, Georgia.
P1: (Gasp) WOW! Bonjour!!!!
Where that came from I'll never know, maybe school, but Lora and I cracked up at this when it happened.
