Ladybugs

On Sunday we went to a nursery to pick out some vegetables and the such for P1 and P2's planting day at school. Lora and I are both going to participate with each of their respective classes this year, and we're looking forward to it. While we were there we bought the girls some gloves to wear when they work in the garden. Paxten is modeling a pair of the gloves in the pictures below. She put them on herself! !
The real fun though were the 1500 lady bugs that we bought to release onto our rose bushes. And although the majority of them flew away, it was worth it to see the joy (Presley) and terror (Paxten) that each kid displayed during the process. Presley had a blast, but Paxten screamed "NO!" as loud as she could any time we asked her if she wanted to hold a ladybug, which obviously cracked Lora and me up. Pictures below of the ladybugs, a happy P1 and a hesitant P2. It was a fun moment. I love my 3 ladybugs!
