In yesterday's post, you may have noticed Paxten's band-aid on her toe. She scraped it up the other day at the park, and so we all went home, and Lora cleaned the scrape and put a band-aid on it. After Lora had done this, all of the sudden Paxten screamed to me as loud as she could, "Mommy make it feel better, Dada!" It was a cute moment, but when it happened, my first thought was about how far she has progressed in her communication skills as she had just said a six word sentence! And then, yesterday, I noticed that Paxten has replaced, "my do it," and/or "my shut it," with "let me do it," and/or "let me shut it." Like I said, she is coming along really well in her communication skills, which makes me happy and a tiny bit sad because she's growing up too quickly! I love my little sponge!
