Flood Gates?

I know this is hard to believe, but last night Presley slept in bed with Lora and me for the first time since she was a tiny baby and still nursing. Lora and I have always had a policy that she can't sleep with us because we've always said if we let her once, then it'll be harder to tell her "no" the next time she asks. Basically, we don't want to "open the flood gates." Last night in the middle of the night and the thunder storm, she called me up to her room and told me that she did not want to sleep by herself. She also gave me the same speech when I put her to bed last night. I was tired, and tired of arguing with her, so I told her okay, but I said if she talked one time I was going to take her back up to her room. Presley jumped up and held me hand and as soon as she got in our room, ran to the bed and jumped in. She was so excited. She fell right to sleep, and even slept with her head on my shoulder some. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy every second of it. Presley was still on cloud nine about getting to sleep in mommy and daddy's bed this morning. I really hope I didn't open those flood gates I was talking about, but even if I did, what's the worst that could happen? =)
