This past weekend, P1 was drawing on our driveway with chalk, and she drew the following picture:
The last thing she added were the two half circle things that I've pointed out with arrows. Here is why and what they are:
Me: Presley I like your drawing. Does this girl have rainbow hair?
P1: That's me.
Me: Oh, Presley, I like your drawing. Do you have rainbow hair?
P1: Yes.
Me: Where are your arms?
P1: They're on my hands.
Me: No, I mean in the picture. Where are your arms?
P1: Oh. They're behind my back. (At this point she drew the two half circle things that I've pointed out.) Those are my elbows.
Me: PRESLEY! ! ! That's wonderful! ! ! I love your creativity! Good job!
I thought that entire conversation was so neat and fun on so many levels. My little girl is growing up too fast. I love my little Picasso!
