Tonight......She Doesn't Seem So Young

I have a gift. Okay, it may not really be a gift, but I've always liked it. I have the ability to hear a song a few times and memorize the lyrics fairly quickly. I think part of it actually may be that I don't have a musical note in my body, so instead of hearing music, I hear words and stories. Regardless, if I like a song, I'm going to know the words fairly quickly. That's my point.
Lora and I think Presley has that same gift because she picks up on the words to songs pretty quickly as well, but every song that she has ever known well was introduced to her at school, in movies or by her mom and me. Until tonight. Tonight, she floored Lora and me.
Lora and I were sitting at the dinner table talking, and Presley was over at the refrigerator getting some water. All of the sudden, I started singing a song that is currently in rotation on the radio when I started, "Tonight.....", and then Lora finished it, "...we are young," AND THEN from the other side of the kitchen Presley sang, "...so let's set the world on fire." The second this happened, Lora and I quickly gave each other a "did she just say what I think she said" look, and then turned our attention to Presley. Presley was on the other side of the kitchen with her cup of water up to her face smiling from ear to ear. She knew that we did not know that she even knew that song, and so the smile on her face was so cunning, clever and proud that Lora and I just started cracking up. Lora asked her how she knew that song, and she told us that she heard it on the radio. The next thing I said was the ONLY thing that was on my mind at the time:  "Presley, I LOVE YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!"
