That's right. Daddy's GirlS, with an "s," as in plural, as in both girls. I know I told you here and here about Paxten being mommy's girl, but mommy was gone on business last Wednesday and Thursday, and Paxten changed her mind.
P2:
On Friday, Lora and I went to pick up Paxten from her baby sitter’s house together. When we walked in the door, Paxten screamed like always when she saw both of us. Lora scooped her up and gave her some loving, but as I got closer, Paxten was trying as hard as possible to dive into Daddy’s arms! When she finally got to me, she did the same thing to Lora that she did to me the other day: she waived, said “bye-bye,” and blew her a kiss! It made my day. She did this two or three more times throughout the evening on Friday and Saturday. Right now, currently, I would say that Paxten isn’t showing favoritism to either parent now that Lora has been back for a week, BUT Lora will be out of town for business or pleasure on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so you know what that means: DADDY’S GIRL! ! ! ! (Do I really think this will happen, yes, but I think Lora is a wonderful, top 1% mom, which is why I enjoy being the favorite (even if it is short lived) because the competition is so good. Maybe if Lora was an average mom, it wouldn’t be such a big deal to me. Lora, I love you and your mommy skills.)
P1:
On Saturday after we had been swimming, Presley was sitting in my lap and we were cuddling and talking, and I asked her quietly whose girl she was, and she whispered, “daddy’s,” but Lora heard it, so I felt bad. So I told Presley to go tell mommy that she was mommy’s girl too. Presley walked over to mommy and Lora bent down so Presley could whisper it in her ear, and Presley said, “I’m daddy’s girl.” Ha, ha, ha! I loved it. It was all in good fun. I love my girls and their wonderful, top 1%, but 2nd in this house, mommy.
