Paxten Cady Parker is SUCH a mommy's girl right now. How much of a mommy's girl do you ask? Well, let's just say the following conversation took place the other day, and unfortunately for me, it is all too common:
Paxten Cady Parker is SUCH a mommy's girl right now. How much of a mommy's girl do you ask? Well, let's just say the following conversation took place the other day, and unfortunately for me, it is all too common:
(I'm holding Paxten because I got her dressed and just came down stairs with her.)
Lora: (Walking towards us with her arms out) Paxten? Do you want your mommy?
Me: Paxten, tell mommy, "no, no, no, no because you're daddy's girl"!
As Lora gets close enough, Paxten dives into Lora's arms, turns to face me and moves her arm back and forth and says, "no, no, no, no" then she tells me "bye-bye" while waiving and tops it off by blowing me a kiss! Lora and I cracked up!
Also the other night Presley was with Poppy and SuSu so Lora and I were alone with Paxten. It was my turn to put Paxten down, but Paxten was screaming and reaching for mommy as I was taking her upstairs because she wanted mommy to put her down, so mommy put her down again. She has now put her down seven nights in a row, and we usually rotate. It is so bad that Lora has started feeling sorry for me and encouraging Paxten to let her daddy hold her. I do think I’m her 2nd favorite though, but it just isn’t a close second at all.
