Lora used to paint Presley's fingernails. The problem with that is that Presley still sucks on her two middle fingers at night when she sleeps and she basically sucks the fingernail polish off of her fingers. I'm not a doctor, but that can't be good for anybody. This was months ago, but basically we decided not to paint her fingernails any more.
Last week; however, Lora did paint Presley's toenails. Presley was very excited about it, and the first day we took her to school after Lora painted them, Presley came home from school with no socks because she took her socks off to show all of her friends at school.
That was on Monday. On Wednesday, when I was walking her into school, the following conversation took place:
Me: Presley, your new shoes look so pretty. I think those are my favorite shoes that you have.
P1: My toenails are still painted.
Me: I know, and they're so pretty.
P1: I don't suck on my toenails because they are still painted.
Me: HA HA! You don't? I'm so glad you don't suck on your toenails! ! !
