The Utah Ski trip was a lot of fun. I must say traveling with a 1 year old and 3 year old can be very trying. There is no down time on the airplane to read or rest; and getting through security when you have to take off two pairs of shoes and pack up the stroller, etc., while also making sure everyone/thing is still accounted for can be stressful too, but we managed.
I don't really have time to post a lot about the trip, so this post will be about the airports.
Paxten slept on the plain there and back; however, not for long periods of time or not before she got fussy until she fell asleep. As a father, a crying baby does not bother me anymore. I used to get so upset when I was on a plane and a passenger around me had a baby. One 14 year old girl in front of Lora told her dad she couldn't sleep because of the baby behind her and looked disgusted with Paxten. Oh well, she'll understand one day if she is lucky enough to have kids of her own.
Presley rode on my luggage everywhere we went in the airport. It was either that or carry her, and I had two suitcases to worry about, so I really couldn't carry her. She is not a fast walker and when she doesn't want to walk, she won't. I thought letting her ride on the suitcase seemed like a very logical thing to do, but we got so many comments and or laughs/chuckles when people saw us.
Anyway, the pics below are of Paxten sleeping in the plane and Presley riding in the airport. Enjoy.
