While in Utah, we stayed with another couple who also had two girls. Presley is 4 months older than their older girl and Paxten is 9 months older than their youngest girl. Presley played very well with the girl who is just 4 months younger than her, and I have several stories from that week, but on the very first day, the following conversation took place:
(Presley and Hannah were coloring together on a coloring book when Paxten crawled up and grabbed the coloring book because that is what babies do.)
Hanna: NO! !
P1: Don't tell her ‘no.’ Only I can tell her ‘no.’
It cracked me up, but also made me feel good that she was so protective of her sister.
