After School Conversations

On Monday after school, Presley and I had some conversations that I wanted to remember.  Here they are:

After I picked up Presley from school:
Me:  Presley I got a surprise for you.
P1:  What is it?
Me:  Goldfish.
P1:  Can I see?
Me:  Yes, and you can eat them, but you have to say the magic word.
P1:  Abra-ca-dabra
Me:  Abra-ca-dabra?  That's not the magic word.
P1:  What is it?
Me:  Please.
P1:  PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!
Me: Okay.

I thought this was funny because I always remember "please" being the magic word, but she did in fact say a magic word.  It caught me off guard.  Later that night:

P1:  Daddy can I have an ice cream "samwitch?"
Me:  What's the magic word?
P1:  Abr- - - - - PLEEEEEEASE! ! !
Me:  Very good! ! !

Please note they were mini ice cream "samwitches," and she ate all of her fruit and chicken.

Lastly, this conversation took place in the garage after we got home:

P1:  Daddy, what's that?
Me:  Those are bags of mulch.
P1:  Why do you have mulch?
Me:  Come here, let me show you around this tree.
P1:  Where is it?
Me:  Look.  You see this brown stuff (as I picked up a handful of it), it is mulch.
P1:  Oh.
Me:  This mulch is brown just like the mulch in those bags, but mulch can also be black or red too.
P1:  And Rainbow?
Me:  No.
P1:  Blue?
Me:  No.
P1:  Purple?
Me:  No
P1:  Pink?
Me:  No.
P1:  Oh.
